Alicia Garza, Co-Founder of Black Lives Matter, breaks down what it would take for a presidential candidate to win her vote on The Van Jones Show.
"We have to be very, very clear that right now voters are increasingly cynical. They're cynical about the role of government. They're cynical about the honesty of elected officials. This is an opportunity for us to get real so that we can reconcile what's going on in this country. So what's going to prevent me from, or encourage me to vote for someone, is somebody who can talk to me about the issues I care about from the way that I'm experiencing them, and somebody who can tell the truth if their mind has changed about their stances that they may have taken 20 years ago."
