COVID-19 Dispatch #5

Our fifth dispatch focused on the current crises in our country right now. #cut50’s National Organizer Louis L. Reed was joined by Bay Area artist and activist, Jamal Trulove, Hartford City Councilman TJ Clarke III, and Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

They discussed what police reforms are needed across the country, the impact of the Black Lives Matter movement, and how legislative reform and activism can work hand-in-hand to create change, drawing upon their differing perspectives as an activist, local elected official, and law enforcement leader.
