Green For All has launched our national clean transportation campaign called #FuelChange and is seeking partners like you!
Tailpipe pollution from cars, trucks, and buses disproportionately impacts communities of color and low-income communities, exacerbating disparate health impacts such as asthma, cardiovascular disease, and even premature death. Transportation is also the largest source of carbon emissions in the United States.
The overall goal of the #FuelChange campaign is to bring clean cars, trucks, and buses to low-income communities and communities of color.
Using music, art, and education, our goal is to reach people directly impacted by transit pollution and to develop, cultivate, and support local leaders and community-based organizations to lead local #FuelChange policy efforts where they live.
We’re seeking partnerships with state and community-based organizations that are currently engaged in or are interested in engaging in:
- Bus electrification where they live;
- Ensuring that funding from a cap-and-invest policy being developed by Northeast & Mid-Atlantic states prioritizes the needs of low-income communities and communities of color (and otherwise advocate equity in the process).
