COVID-19 Dispatch #4

For our fourth Dispatch, we teamed up with Equity and Roc Nation to bring you something amazing and never done before – music and creativity created behind prison walls in California. Dream Corps #cut50 has worked with the San Quentin Mixtape Project for more than three years and we were thrilled to host this Dispatch coinciding with the global release of San Quentin Mixtape, Vol. 1.

Spearheaded by David Jassy, the mixtape program uses music as a rehabilitative tool that encourages accountability, personal transformation, and self-exploration. The San Quentin Mixtape program has been visited by Kim Kardashian West, J. Cole, Common, MC Hammer and more! Join Dream Corps #cut50, David Jassy and other surprise guests who check in from the music & entertainment industry as well as our nation’s prisons as we celebrate this landmark occasion and raise awareness about the current struggles facing those incarcerated during COVID-19.
