Job Summary

The Donor Engagement Manager will play an essential role in increasing Dream Corps’ capacity to manage relationships, partnerships, donors and events. Through ongoing funder stewardship, relationship tracking, and event support, the Donor Engagement Manager will help grow the fundraising department and the organization.

The Donor Engagement Manager reporting structure is to be determined, but will work closely with CEO, Development Director, and others throughout the organization including the National Directors. Key Responsibilities

Ongoing Funder Stewardship

  • Engage in one-on-one meetings with current and potential donors
  • Develop and maintain one-pagers and other materials, for Dream Corps initiatives, to be used at fundraising meetings and events with Dream Corps staff

  • Work closely with the Engagement team to ensure that our messaging and issue framing is on brand

  • Support fundraising team with ongoing cadence of major donor stewardship, including quarterly emails and other updates

Event Planning

  • Manage logistics for fundraising events, including venue coordination, event host support, and follow-up


  • Track record of soliciting donations
  • Track record of donor appreciation practices and experience
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented work style
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple assigned tasks efficiently
  • Fierce commitment to social justice
