As Dream Corps’ Engagement Manager, Lizzy helps coordinate organizing strategy across initiatives and oversees our distributed and volunteer networks. Lizzy is a seasoned facilitator and trainer with over 20 years of experience in activism and organizing. Getting their start in the anti-globalization movement, Lizzy has primarily organized with other low-income and working class folks around various justice issue — from anti-war and counter-recruitment work with the Syracuse Peace Council in Syracuse, NY, to building power in immigrant communities and fighting for affordable housing, a livable wage, and respect and dignity at work as a community organizer in Boston, MA. In 2014 they co-founded the Deep Abiding Love Project, a militant nonviolent direct action training collective specializing in creative action planning and rapid response in the face of state violence. They are passionate about leadership development, love working in the garden with their neighbors, dabble in street photography and music, and believe Janeway is the best Starfleet captain. Lizzy is based in St. Louis, MO.
