Harriet has worked for decades as a writer, graphic designer, and web content specialist in the non-profit sector. Born in the UK, Harriet eventually relocated to southern Oregon where she experienced wildfires, putting her face to face with the effects of climate change. This caused her to question the world her children and grandchildren would inherit as well as her role in it all. She’s interested in examining the ways climate change impacts our daily lives that may not be as apparent, such as the supply chains allowing things such as online shopping. She raised two daughters in upstate New York before moving to the west coast, where she lives in the hills of southern Oregon with her partner, Shanti, and their black Labrador.
