Emily works across Dream Corps programs to develop corporate responsibility and communications strategies, and strengthen partner relationships. She joins Dream Corps with nearly 10 years of experience building communications campaigns for political, business, and nonprofit leaders. Over her career, she has worked for Hawaii’s congressional delegation in both the U.S House and Senate, and trained and advised more than two dozen organizations, legislators and executives in crisis communication, community relations, and advocacy.
Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, Emily is rooted in the Aloha State’s values of service, multicultural inclusion, and family. She is a volunteer and advisor to AccesSurf—a nonprofit leader in adaptive surfing—and has taught and studied movement-based healing practices for over a decade.
