Adrienne Orilla is a program and events coordinator with a background in event management and marketing communications. Her experience includes her work for the State of California where she served as the Media Specialist and Executive Assistant for the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, The California’s Strategic Growth Council, and California Housing and Community Development. Her strong ties to the State of California include advocating for city and county communities on awareness of climate change, sustainability, water/drought issues, and land use planning. Her recent work includes coordination of the Global Climate Action Summit and its affiliate event, Science to Action day in San Francisco, California. She is also an avid volunteer for many community engagement programs, specifically in elementary schools and communities of color in Northern California. Her hope is to expand her work in environment and social justice not only to local communities in California but to communities nationwide.
