Sydney Snow serves as the Director of Strategic Engagement for Green For All. In her role, she works to mobilize communities of color in an effort to highlight the potential benefit that the President's Climate Action Plan offers by building a wide foundation of diverse stakeholders and ensuring that equity-based climate policies are implemented across the country.
Before joining the Green For All team Sydney worked with a coalition of 20+ national environmental organizations dedicated to building the political power of the environmental movement in order to protect the environment and build a sustainable economy. During her tenure with the coalition, Sydney worked with black and brown communities to encourage a new perspective on climate change among unfamiliar audiences and to build a strong and diverse climate movement in the United States. Sydney also worked for the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the Congressional Black Caucus where she was dedicated to climate change and voting rights issues. During her time at the coalition Sydney worked with civil rights organizations such as the NAACP, National Urban League, LULAC, & NCLR as well as faith leaders from the African Methodist Episcopal Church, National Baptist Convention, USA, Church of God in Christ, Evangelicals, and other grassroots organizations.
Sydney is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. She holds a B.A. from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. She enjoys traveling the world in her free time and has been to more than 25 countries.
